It's December and I am enrolled, looking forward to TESOL Boston in March. The purpose of this blog is to create a space for me to reflect on the TESOL experience and share with friends, students who are not attending. So stay tuned!
I tried to catch up with all the Mainers at Lucky's, but apparently there is a secret handshake involved! I felt kind of a like an BLL (Boston Language Learner); two different people pointed me to Lucky's and I still couldn't find it!
Perhaps I'll catch up with you later. I really thought Howard Gardner's comments were thought-provoking...
Dear Linda: I hope this is where I comment re; your TESOl trip. I have enjoyed reading your blogs; you have seen/heard some very impressive people. Interesting that graphic organizers are a key tool to reading comprehension- that reinforces my use of them. Thank you for sharing all this information.
It sounds great! I read Howard Gardner's book: Multiple Intelligences The Theory in Practice and I thought it was awesome. I continued reading a simplified and more school oriented version of Thomas Armstrong Multiple Intelligences in the classroom and I am a total fan of this theory, I really think is important to learn that valuable information about our students. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
